Envelope, shmenvelope

Happy Friday!

This is actually my second attempt at this card. My first attempt was really 3D with the leaves hanging off of the edge... and then I realized that I do actually need to send it through our trusty postal service and there was no way it will fit into an envelope. Also, I wanted to tweak a couple of other details, and I like this result much better.

My Mind's Eye paper
Papertrey Ink cardstock
Palette Ink
Unity and {ippity} stamps
Button from my stash, who knows??

I have some new Pebbles pearlescent chalk pencils that I wanted to try out, plus some (new to me) {ippity} stamps and the feature Unity stamps from a couple of weeks ago. Thank goodness for online ordering! I haven't yet figured out how to blend the pencils, but I like how the background turned out.

Papertrey Ink cardstock and paper
{ippity} and Unity stamps
Pallette ink
Pebbles chalk pencils

And lastly, I just want to say how much comments left mean to me. It always sets me up for an excellent weekend!

Both cards are really cute Sarah! I totally understand having to send cards in the mail and making them fit in envelopes! I like to have elements hang off the edges but it's just not practical in my world LOL
