Happy Friday!

 

I realized this week that Mother's day is rapidly approaching. Yikes!

 

My parents have been ummm.... Helping.... my grandma sort through piles and piles of paper and they said that she had kept a lot of the cards we have sent her over the years. It's time to restock Grandma's stash!

Recieved this lovely stamp in the mail this week. In record time, I might add. Brought out the markers and the newest episode of Glee and had myself a fine old time.

Posting this on the run- work calls. Have a super holiday full of inspiration for all those moms out there!
 

Make it Monday and New Toys

Going for a little abstract here...

I finally got around to playing with my order from last month's release and I love these colors. The only PTI official ink I have out of that combo is the Ocean Tides, though, so the rest is a little hit-or-miss. The result is a fairly mailable, easypeasy birthday card. I'm collecting them for a Mother's day gift for my mom.

Butterflies

Ohhh, so much more free time today. What to do, what to do... Just kidding. I did finish a ton of stuff, but there's always Moxie Fab World's Tuesday Trigger!

I love the butterflies, and the water-colory-ness of this dress. I just don't have the inks to be able to copy this combo. I'm going with blue instead...

I used gelatos on slightly damp watercolor paper. I love the blurriness, but gosh darn it, I really hate waiting for it to dry. I think it might be God's way of teaching me patience, but at least I now have a slight head start on Mother's Day. Woohoo!

Also, I have new pointy scissors. I didn't realize how dull my old favorites were getting until I found this new pair. It's the little things, right?
