The new semester starts next week, which means that I'm going to have a lot less easy reading time on my hands. I found a passage in a library book that kind of sums up my frame of mind right now...
"It comes from love, this desire to pursue advanced degrees in something pretty much the whole world will never see as valid or useful! I tcomes from love, and in return they give you narrative theory! Love turns to semantics! It's the tragedy of higher education!" ~Megan Crane in English as a Second Language
On the other hand, in response "...you're pissed out of your mind and talking shit. Please reign in the philosophizing and tend to your pint." Also MC in EAASL.
For everyone starting a new semester, have a good one and may your time spent trying to figure out what you want to be when you grow up be more productive than mine!
